Autumn Markwell is a master of transformation, blending over 15 years of expertise as an Advanced Practice Esthetician, Cosmetologist, and Certified Laser Technician. Known for her exceptional skill and unwavering dedication to her clients, Autumn has become a trusted name in beauty and wellness across Hibbing and beyond. With state-certified Salon Management credentials in hair and esthetician services, she delivers unmatched care and professionalism, ensuring every client leaves feeling radiant and confident.
Lance Markwell is a Certified Laser Technician known for precision, expertise, and exceptional results in advanced laser aesthetics. Shana Nelson, APRN, CNP, Medical Director
Shana Nelson, APRN, CNP, Medical Director for The Loft Medspa & Laser brings over 22 years of exceptional clinical experience to her role as Medical Director at The Loft Medspa. A seasoned healthcare professional, Shana spent 18 years as a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency medicine in both rural and urban settings. Four years ago, she advanced her expertise by becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner, now providing Primary Family Practice care at her clinic in Foley, MN.
Passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, Shana views aesthetic medicine as a natural extension of her commitment to overall wellness. Her focus is on helping patients look and feel their best while addressing their unique medical and aesthetic concerns with precision and empathy.

We are beyond excited to welcome Amanda Hagsten to The Loft Medspa & Laser—bringing with her a rare blend of deep healing, holistic wisdom, and intentional touch that elevates the entire spa experience.
Amanda’s journey to becoming a massage therapist is as unique and soulful as the treatments she provides. Her passion began with a deep fascination for plants, herbs, and natural medicine, leading her to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. After volunteering in traditional healthcare settings, she knew the conventional medical world wasn’t where her spirit belonged—her calling was something more connected, more intuitive, more healing.
That calling led her to the Saint Croix Center for Healing Arts, where she trained in a program that blended Western medical foundations with whole-body, mind, and spirit healing. This fusion is at the heart of everything Amanda offers: grounded knowledge, intuitive connection, and treatments that go far beyond relaxation.
