- Protect your skin from the sun for 2–4 weeks prior—this is key for safety and optimal results
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to treatment areas
- Keep skin well-hydrated, healthy, and irritation-free
- Share a full list of medications, supplements, and recent treatments with your provider
- Arrive with clean, bare skin—no makeup, lotions, deodorant, or active products on the area
DON’T:
- Avoid tanning, tanning beds, and self-tanners before treatment
- Discontinue retinoids, acids, exfoliants, and active skincare 5–7 days prior
- Do not wax, thread, or use depilatory creams on the treatment area
- Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, or aggressive skin treatments unless approved by your provider
